Question of the week? “Do I get raises in DROP?”
Yes! Any raises that would normally apply to your position are credited the same and you will see the increases in pay as you would previous to DROP.
BUT! The raises will not be calculated into your DROP accrual or have any impact on your future annual pension amount.
This question most commonly arises before participants enter DROP or if they are thinking about going into DROP. I think the real question should be how would my past or future salary increases affect when or IF that participant should enter DROP?!
