Our Process

Retirement Planning Is a Process, Here's How We Can Help

If you are serious about putting together a retirement plan, we can help. We offer free retirement planning meetings with FRS members who are ready to start planning the next chapter of their lives in retirement. It is never too early to start planning retirement, but it can sometimes be too late. Below you can see our process that takes you from start to finish at no cost to you.

Introduction - The Learning Phase

This is the beginning of the retirement planning path. It's time to start or refresh your learning of your FRS retirement benefits. If you're not confident you understand your FRS benefits, you can request a free copy of our book "Your FRS, Your Choice"  by clicking Here. This fast and easy to read book will take you through both of the FRS retirement plans, and help you assess what options might be of interest to you. If you feel confident in your knowledge of your benefits already or have a rough idea and have questions, then you can move on to step 2.

Step 1 - Assessing The Pieces

Determine where you stand. Schedule a meeting with one of our financial professionals who can help answer your questions about your retirement goals and priorities. We will then help you assess your risk tolerance, evaluate your options, and help you assess your retirement objectives and timeline.

Step 2 - Reviewing the Options

Evaluating the paths. In this next meeting the following week we will assess with you your options to determine which option is better suited to your goals, objectives and timeline.

Step 3 - Putting The Pieces Together

It's time to start putting together your retirement plan. At this stage your financial professional will help you begin implementing your retirement plan as we work together to customize your retirement path towards your goals.

Moving Forward - Evaluating and Adjusting Your Path

Keep moving forward. It's hard to stay on path if you don't check where you are going. We will conduct systematic reviews of your retirement plan with you typically on a semi-annual basis to help you stay aligned with your retirement goals.

You can begin this process and in two complimentary meetings be up to date on your FRS retirement options by clicking the link below to schedule your first meeting with us as a time convenient for you. It really is that simple. So if you really are serious about planning retirement, we will look forward to speaking with you soon.
